Sclerotherapy
Thread Vein Treatment
Sclerotherapy effectively treats thread and spider veins on the legs. This treatment is not suitable for other body parts or the face.
A sclerotherapy solution called Fibrovein is injected directly into the thread vein. This causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.
After sclerotherapy, visible results are immediate however some treated veins can take a few weeks to fade. Several sclerotherapy treatment sessions may be needed.
A full consultation will always be completed prior to treatment where a suggested treatment plan can be discussed. Full aftercare will always be provided with follow up appointments as necessary.
